Job summary

Integrity Care Group is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front desk operations, insurance verification, and patient data integrity. You will greet patients, collect co-pays, and ensure confidentiality while coordinating with providers and staff.

Responsibilities include patient registration, data entry, insurance verification, and assisting with referrals as needed. A proactive customer-service approach and strong computer skills are required for a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of medical coding and billing.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood-borne pathogens, and others.
• Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate new and current provider staff.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in a polite, prompt, and helpful manner and informs about delays.
• Obtains registration data, insurance information, and photo ID.
• Preserves patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times.
• Collects co-pays and processes payments per insurance rules.
• Maintains accurate patient data entry and file organization.
