Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Minimum: Two years guest/customer services experience.
• Ability to work with interruptions while maintaining customer focus and professional demeanor.
• Familiarity with standard desktop and windows-based computer systems and email/intranet.
• Standing for long periods; able to push a guest or patient in a wheelchair.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and families at the main desk.
• Provide accurate information and directions with a warm, helpful tone.
• De-escalate safety-related concerns and guide to appropriate resources.
• Maintain a clean reception area and assist with screening tasks as needed.
• Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate staff.
• Help staff with directing patients and escorts as needed.
