Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide administrative support and exceptional patient service under supervision. You will handle patient registration, insurance processing, and front-office tasks to maintain efficient clinic operations.

The role emphasizes cross-training, compliance, and a friendly, professional environment as part of a growth-focused healthcare team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with CPR certification; at least 1 year of medical office/customer experience.
• 3 years' experience in billing and coding and intermediate computer skills including 70–100 WPM typing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with high-level customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information at registration.
• Explain and collect co-pays, deductibles, or Self-Pay amounts.
• Coordinate medical records with providers as needed.
• Support back-office duties and cross-train as needed.
• Maintain office cleanliness and organization.
• Assist with training of new employees.
• Adhere to company standards and core values.
• Handle phone calls professionally and manage patient flow.
