Job summary

Prevea Health in Green Bay is seeking a part-time Patient Support specialist to welcome patients and visitors, offer guidance, and refer them to the right clinic or department for a smooth, welcoming experience.

The role emphasizes assisting patients, coordinating transportation, and maintaining waiting areas while following clinic protocols in emergencies and customer-service practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or GED required.
• 1-3 years minimum of one year customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors as they enter clinic/department.
• Directs them to appropriate location including clinical, ancillary or business areas.
• Helps patients needing assistance.
• Transfers patients in/out of wheelchairs using body mechanics techniques.
• Follows clinic protocol in alerting appropriate personnel in emergency situations.
• Handles customer concerns in helpful, objective manner, involving manager as appropriate.
• Arranges for necessary transportation including cabs, clinic vans.
• May assist in maintaining waiting areas.
• Maintain lost and found.
