Job summary

ChenMed LLC is seeking a Care Facilitator to greet patients, perform check-in/check-out, and schedule appointments in our Oakland Park clinic. You will also assist with basic administrative tasks, maintain a welcoming lobby, and protect patient confidentiality.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, accurate data entry, and effective communication with patients and clinical staff. Prior medical office experience is a plus and local travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or similar environment
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program preferred
• BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet, check-in/out patients and schedule appointments.
• Maintain lobby organization and cleanliness.
• Gatekeeper for PCP and Specialist schedules.
• Handle phone and email communications; print forms.
• Verify insurance and collect copays as needed.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure comfort.
• Protect patient confidentiality and accurate records.
