Job summary

Edmonds Eye, a progressive ophthalmic practice, seeks a Patient Concierge to enhance the patient experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will warmly welcome patients, schedule appointments, and act as a primary contact, coordinating with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, clear communication, and teamwork in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of general office experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Windows-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist patients and visitors warmly, both in person and over the phone.
  • Schedule routine, follow-up, and specialty appointments as needed.
  • Serve as a key point of contact, responding to patient and visitor inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
  • Facilitate smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff and communicating delays or updates.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills during challenging patient interactions.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Support a positive, efficient front-office experience in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
