Raleigh Medical Group, P.A. is seeking a Medical Scheduler to join our in-office team in Clayton, NC. You will be the first point of contact, handling calls, scheduling, and updating patient information to ensure a smooth patient experience.

We value accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and excellent communication as you collaborate with providers and staff to maintain efficient clinic operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of medical scheduling experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience using Athena EHR.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments per provider calendars.
• Enter and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility in the EHR system.
• Process patient requests via portal, website, or other channels.
• Coordinate appointments affected by schedule changes.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
