Duke Health is seeking a Patient Service Associate at Growing Child Pediatrics in Raleigh to support daily clinic operations, including patient check-in/out, appointment scheduling, and charge posting. You will interact with patients, manage referrals, and prepare visits while maintaining accurate records in Maestro and EPIC.

Formación

• Minimum of one year of work experience in directly communicating and providing service to patients or public.
• Experience coordinating multiple tasks or activities.
• Ability to handle multiple assignments, conflicting demands & priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare for clinic visits by reviewing next day patients and completing reminder calls.
• Review work queues in Maestro and clear issues related to patient accounts.
• Checkout patients and schedule return appointments; manage referrals and orders.
• Answer calls; assist patients with requests, cancellations, and rescheduling.
• Maintain logs for faxes and scan documents into EPIC; support billing processes.
• Present and educate patients on financial forms and obtain signatures.
• Identify and collect patient financial liabilities and post payments correctly.
