Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first friendly face for patients, supporting efficient office operations and exceptional patient care in a busy clinic setting.

You will welcome patients, check in, verify information, schedule visits, answer calls, assist with billing and MyChart support, and maintain accurate records in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or eligible with work permit from school (15-17) preferred
• 1–2 years of medical/physician office or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
• Check patients in and verify registration and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
• Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing processes.
• Assist with patient communications, paperwork, and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and support day-to-day office operations.
• Partner with providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.
