Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a patient-focused care teammate at Ascension Seton Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX. This role supports pre-operative services with mobility, daily living assistance, and precise documentation to ensure safe patient care.

Shift is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with required BLS certification and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will collaborate with nursing staff to maintain a clean, safe environment and deliver compassionate care

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date; AHAs or Red Cross acceptable.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience required; licensure can substitute.

Responsibilities

• Patient Mobility & Positioning: assist transfers and positioning to support rehab goals.
• Daily Living Assistance: help with essential ADLs and personal hygiene needs.
• Clinical Reporting & Documentation: monitor patient status and document changes for nursing staff.
• Environment & Equipment Maintenance: keep the patient area clean and safe; manage equipment.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Patient Mobility & Positioning: Facilitate safe patient movement, transfers, and positioning to maximize comfort and support physical rehabilitation goals.

• Daily Living Assistance: Deliver compassionate, high-quality care by assisting patients with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene needs.

• Clinical Reporting & Documentation: Monitor patient well-being to promptly report physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff while maintaining precise medical records.

• Environment & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure a clean, organized, and hygienic patient environment while managing and maintaining essential medical equipment for optimal safety.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
