Job summary

Ascension Seton Cedar Park Medical Center in Cedar Park, TX is seeking a dedicated team member in the Pre-operative Services department. The schedule runs Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, supporting patient mobility, daily living activities, and accurate clinical documentation to aid recovery.

Following a patient-centered care approach, you will help maintain a clean, safe environment and properly operate essential medical equipment, contributing to high-quality care and smooth

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe patient movement, transfers, and positioning to maximize comfort and support physical rehabilitation goals.
• Assist patients with essential activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal hygiene needs.
• Monitor patient well-being and promptly report physical, mental, or emotional changes to nursing staff while maintaining precise medical records.
• Ensure a clean, organized, and hygienic patient environment while managing essential medical equipment for safety.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):


• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education
