Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital - Tucson is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for full-time, 12-hour shifts (7:00–7:00) with days or nights available. Compensation ranges from $19.32 to $24.50 per hour, based on experience.

The PCT role involves patient care under RN supervision, including transportation, dressing, grooming, and hourly rounding in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Requires hospital experience as a patient care technician, nursing assistant or related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student.
• Certified BLS or completion within first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients to and from various treatment areas when necessary.
• Assists in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Performs services for the patient involving dressing, showering, bathing and oral feeding.
• Answers patient lights and performs services in a timely manner that adds to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Participates in patient turning/repositioning, performs purposeful hourly rounds.

Minimum Qualifications
