AtlantiCare seeks a Patient Care Technician to support the care team with direct and indirect patient care, specimen collection, and data documentation. The role requires high school diploma, BLS certification within 30 days, and CPI training within 1 year. English language proficiency is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

8 weeks of patient care training or related experience preferred. The position emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer (or by 10/31/25 for existing employees).
• English language proficiency required; bilingual preferred.
• At least 8 weeks of patient care education or direct patient care experience; or enrollment in a nursing/PA program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision.
• Assists patients with personal care needs and participates in the plan of care.
• Communicates observations and data to the Clinical Associate.
• Collects test specimens and documents care activities.
• May perform Limited Laboratory Services per procedures and quality control.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports care team objectives.
