AtlantiCare in Atlantic City, NJ is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our care team. The role assists with personal care, collects specimens, and communicates observations to licensed staff, supporting the plan of care and patient safety.

Candidates must have a High School diploma, BLS, CPI training eligibility, and English proficiency; prior care experience preferred. This is a full-time position with opportunities to grow within a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• American Heart Association BLS required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required within 1 year of hire or transfer into the role, or until 10/31/25 for existing employees in the role.
• At least 8 weeks of Patient Care education or direct patient care experience required; or enrolled in a nursing school or physician assistant program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform direct and indirect patient care functions under supervision.
• Assist patients with personal care needs and participate in the plan of care.
• Communicate observations and data collection to licensed personnel and clinicians, including test results when applicable.
• Collect test specimens as directed and maintain documentation of patient care activities.
