Job summary

AtlantiCare is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the 5 Harmony unit, full-time night shift. The role involves direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision and participation in the plan of care.

You will collect specimens, perform basic lab tasks, and report results to clinicians while maintaining confidentiality. Requirements include a high school diploma, BLS within 30 days, CPI training within a year, and 8 weeks of patient care experience or enrollment in a nursing/PA

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire/transfer or by 10/31/25 for existing employees.
• 8 weeks of patient care education or direct patient care experience required; or enrolled in a nursing school/PA program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care needs and participate in the care plan.
• Collect specimens and perform basic lab tasks per procedures; maintain quality control.
• Communicate observations to clinicians and maintain patient confidentiality.
