AtlantiCare is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join the patient care team. You will perform direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision, assist with personal care, and contribute to the plan of care.

The role includes specimen collection, data recording, and potential limited laboratory tasks in accordance with procedures. Required are a High School diploma, BLS within 30 days of hire, CPI training within 1 year, and English language proficiency.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training required within 1 year of hire or transfer, or by 10/31/25 for existing employees.
• Experience: ability to speak and write English; bilingualism preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist patients with personal care needs and participate in the plan of care.
• Communicate observations and data collection to the Clinical Associate.
• Collect test specimens as directed and document care activities.
• Perform limited laboratory services: specimen prep, testing, quality control, and instrument maintenance as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect in all interactions; support care team objectives.
