AtlantiCare in New Jersey is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision. You will assist with personal care, participate in the plan of care, and communicate observations to the Clinical Associate.

You may collect specimens and, if needed, perform limited laboratory tasks while maintaining strict confidentiality and respectful patient interaction as part of the care team.

Qualificações

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI training within 1 year of hire or transfer (or by 10/31/25 for existing employees).
• Ability to speak and write English; bilingual preferred.
• At least 8 weeks of Patient Care education or direct patient care experience; or enrollment in nursing school or physician assistant program.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with team members.
• Proficiency in Clinical Applications; training within 30–60 days from hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of licensed personnel.
• Assist patients with personal care needs and participate in the plan of care.
• Regularly communicate observations and data collection to the Clinical Associate.
• Collect test specimens as directed and document patient care activities.
• May perform Limited Laboratory Services including specimen collection, processing, quality control, and reporting results.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect in all interactions.
• Collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs and support team objectives.
