Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks a Patient Care Technician to join the health care team in Atlantic City. The role supports direct and indirect patient care under licensed supervision and participates in the plan of care, including specimen collection and data reporting to clinicians.

The position requires a High School degree, BLS certification within 30 days, CPI training within 1 year or by 10/31/25, and strong English skills. Prior patient care exposure is valued.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training within 1 year or by 10/31/25 for current employees.
• English language proficiency required; bilingual preferred.
• Evidence of 8 weeks of patient care education or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care under supervision.
• Assist with personal care needs and participate in the plan of care.
• Collect specimens and document activities per procedures.
• Communicate observations to the Clinical Associate and clinicians.
