Job summary

Ascension, located at Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo in Kokomo, IN, seeks staff for Acute Rehab to perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care under supervision.

You will aid patient movement and daily living activities while documenting changes to nursing staff and keeping rooms clean and equipment ready. The role requires a BLS certification within 30 days of hire and a high school diploma equivalency or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Education: High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience; professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience.

Responsibilities

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff and document necessary records.
• Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
