Job summary

Ascension in Round Rock, TX is seeking a patient care assistant to support the Cardiology department during PRN night shifts. You will help with movement and placement of patients, assist with personal care, and support daily activities under nursing supervision.

The role emphasizes teamwork, documentation, maintaining clean patient rooms, and reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff. BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable experience.
• Professional licensure/certification may be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
