Job summary

Ascension Seton Medical Center Hays in Kyle, TX seeks a Night shift Full-Time Patient Care Technician to assist with movement, personal care and daily living activities. You’ll report changes to nursing staff, document records, and help maintain clean, orderly patient rooms while supporting the Telemetry Unit team.

This role requires BLS within 30 days of hire and a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience is considered.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; experience helpful.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living and patient movement.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
