Job summary

Ascension's Seton Smithville Regional Hospital is seeking a dedicated MedSurg Swing staff member to support patients during night shifts. You will assist with movement and daily living activities, report changes to nursing staff, document essential records, and maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and equipment.

An active BLS certification is required within 30 days of hire. A high school diploma or equivalent or one year of related experience is accepted.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Aid with movement and placement of patients.
• Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
• Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
• Document necessary records.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
