UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Care Tech II/III to support nursing and clinical staff in patient care areas. The role involves monitoring patients, assisting with activities of daily living, and performing bedside procedures under licensed supervision.

Eligible for a $3,000 signing bonus; schedules include day shifts with 40 hours per week. Requires High School diploma or GED and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education or GED.
• Current Basic Life Support.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a clear and concise manner.

Responsabilités

• Provides clear, timely communication to the RN regarding observations and changes seen in patients.
• Maintains patient safety by performing patient safety checks and following restraint policies as directed.
• Assists in daily living activities and positioning of patients.
• Performs vital signs, EKGs, POC tests and specimen collection as hospital standards.
• Performs other unit-specific procedures and supports treatments under supervision of licensed staff.
