Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 1 year of acute care/hospital experience or 1 year of EMT Paramedic experience preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Medical terminology knowledge and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, timely communication to the RN about patient observations.
• Maintain patient safety and perform checks per policy.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and mobility.
• Support unit operations and supplies management.
• Assist in phlebotomy and specimen handling where applicable.
