Job summary

Ascension in Appleton, WI seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Float Pool. You will assist with patient movement, daily living activities, and report changes to nursing staff in a hospital setting.

This full-time night position requires BLS and Wisconsin CNA credentials, with pro-rated PTO and opportunities for tuition reimbursement and growth within Ascension's care teams.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Wisconsin CNA credentialing and registry eligibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year of applicable experience.

How you'll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s)

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certifications may be required by specific job locations.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
