Job summary

Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Adult Psychiatry Unit on a nights, full-time schedule. You’ll assist patients with daily living activities and support patient safety under RN supervision to help recovery and comfort.

This position emphasizes preserving dignity, maintaining calm spaces, and teamwork with nursing leadership. Required: Wisconsin CNA credential, BLS from the American Heart Association within 30 days,

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Experience

• Previous CNA experience in a hospital setting preferred.
