Job summary

Ascension in Racine, WI is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Med Surg unit on the nights, full‑time schedule. You will coordinate multidisciplinary care, act as the central point of contact, and deliver seamless patient services to support recovery.

• Current Wisconsin RN license required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Lead the coordination of multidisciplinary care, acting as the central point of contact to deliver seamless, cohesive patient services.
• Implement and evaluate comprehensive, patient-centered care plans to ensure the highest quality of patient outcomes and successful recovery.
• Document patient care journeys and conditions with precision, ensuring clear and timely communication across the entire care team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license ifconsidered multi-state/Compact State.
• Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
