Shields Health Care Group is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Representative/Technologist Aide in Fitchburg, MA and surrounding MA locations. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, assisting with patient check-in, and coordinating with technologists to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include handling copays, HIPAA compliance, data entry, and supporting emergency scheduling while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in daily operations.

Competenze

• High School Diploma required.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and follow instructions.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and perform data entry via phone.

Mansioni

• Greet patients and collect copays; explain consent forms.
• Assist with iPad check-in and troubleshoot as needed.
• Provide language services as required; ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Coordinate with technologists/radiologists to maintain patient flow.
• Handle mail and deliveries; prepare next day schedule.
• Enter information into systems and maintain confidentiality.
• Respond to scheduling emergencies and support waitlist processes.
• Maintain co-pay/petty cash and daily deposits.
• Assist in patient interview and prepare scan room setup.
• Stay updated on policy changes and perform other duties.
