Job summary

SuperCare Health is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to support patients and referral sources with orders for durable medical equipment, and to verify eligibility and medical necessity. The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and detailed data entry skills.

You will work under supervision, handle high-volume calls, and coordinate with shipping and clinical teams to ensure timely, accurate order processing. Prior healthcare or medical supply experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Medical Supply Company
• Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology
• Detail oriented and organized
• Previous management/supervisor or lead experience
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience in healthcare, medical and/or HME is preferred

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and faxes; takes orders for durable medical equipment and supplies
• Maintains open communication with patients, clients, and referral sources
• Responds to patient/client questions and problems
• Processes orders to shipping or dispatching for deliveries
• Enters data for every order accurately and timely in the system
• Verifies medical necessity with physician and verifies insurance eligibility
• Maintains knowledge of product and insurance coverage trends
• Performs duties as assigned by supervisor or management
