Job summary

SuperCare Health is seeking a Customer Care Specialist for our in-person role in Modesto, CA. You will handle orders for durable medical equipment and supplies, verify insurance and patient information, and coordinate with physicians and referral sources to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires strong communication, multitasking, and knowledge of medical terminology, with opportunities for growth in a supportive post-acute care team.

Qualifications

• Experience with Medical Supply Company
• Knowledge of diagnosis and Medical terminology
• Detail oriented
• Previous Management/Supervisor or Lead experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience in healthcare, medical and/or HME industry (preferred)
• Plan and prioritize actives to achieve results and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and faxes, take orders for durable medical equipment and supplies
• Maintain communication with patients, clients and referral sources
• Respond to questions and problems
• Process orders to shipping or dispatching for deliveries
• Enter order details accurately in the system
• Verify medical necessity and insurance coverage
• Inform patients of copays and financial responsibilities
• Attend departmental and company meetings
