Job summary

SuperCare Health is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to provide exceptional support to patients, clients and referral sources. You will handle orders, verify insurance, and maintain accurate records while delivering compassionate service across our post-acute care operations.

The role requires experience in the medical supply field, strong organization, multitasking, and the ability to meet monthly goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Medical Supply Company is required or preferred.
• Knowledge of diagnosis and Medical terminology is important.
• Detail oriented and organized with strong multitasking ability.
• Previous Management/Supervisor or Lead experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint is expected.
• Experience in healthcare, medical and/or HME industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls and faxes; takes orders for durable medical equipment and supplies.
• Maintains communication with patients, clients, and referral sources.
• Responds to patient questions and problems.
• Processes orders to shipping or dispatching for deliveries.
• Enters data accurately in the system and maintains proper documentation.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, authorization, and patient demographics.
