US Eye in Ft. Myers, FL is seeking a Patient Care Representative to be the friendly, first and last contact for our patients. You will greet patients, verify information, and guide them through check-in and forms in a busy ophthalmology office.

The role requires strong customer service, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced medical environment. You will support scheduling, chart updates, payments, and a tidy reception area while delivering excellent patient

Formación

• High school diploma.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Must be able to work under pressure and respond to patient requests in a positive manner.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff upon entry of the practice.
• Provide a pleasant check-in experience by verifying information and assisting with forms.
• Print daily schedules for team/physician as needed.
• Attend to walk-in patients and scheduling inquiries; assist with prescriptions/records.
• Disseminate information using telephone systems and/or computer software.
• Cross-check and update next-day charts as per appointment schedule.
• Maintain an orderly, safe workspace for patients and staff.
• Complete appointment confirmations and collect co-payments or balances at check-out.
• Fill out essential reports; perform additional administrative duties as needed.
