US Eye in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Patient Care Representative to be the friendly, professional first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will verify patient information, assist with questionnaires, and support the front desk with scheduling and payments.

The role emphasizes courteous communication, accurate data entry, and the ability to multi-task in a busy clinical setting. This is a full-time position with benefits and opportunities for growth at Retina Health Center locations.

Formación

• High school diploma.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Prior experience in a customer service role.
• Must be able to work under pressure and respond to patient requests in a positive manner.
• Associate’s degree (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff at entry.
• Check-in patients and verify information.
• Print daily schedules and assist with appointment planning.
• Attend to walk-in patients, scheduling inquiries, and prescription/record pickup.
• Disseminate information using telephone systems and computer software.
• Cross-check and update next-day charts with the appointment schedule.
• Maintain an orderly, safe workspace for patients and staff.
• Complete appointment confirmation calls.
• Collect co-payments and balances at checkout.
• Fill out essential reports and forms.
• Perform additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
• Travel to other locations as necessary.
