You will verify insurance, process orders, coordinate with shipping, and maintain clear communication with customers while upholding our high standards of service and care. Training and benefits are provided to help you succeed in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with medical supply company.
• Knowledge of diagnosis and medical terminology.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Experience in healthcare or HME industry preferred.
• Experience in supervision/lead roles.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming phone calls and faxes, takes customers’ orders for durable medical and respiratory equipment, repairs, supplies, and other miscellaneous items.
• Verifies medical necessity with physician and checks insurance/coverage per guidelines.
• Enters data and each order accurately in the system and coordinates with shipping or dispatching.
• Maintains communication with patients/clients and referral sources; answers questions and resolves issues.
• Adheres to company policies and attends departmental and company meetings.
