Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners in Plano, TX seeks a Front Desk Coordinator to deliver the first impression and patient service in a fast-paced dermatology clinic. You will handle check-in/out, scheduling, and greeting patients with professionalism.

You will verify insurance, confirm prior authorizations, update EMA data, and collect copays, supporting a smooth care process and patient experience. A High School diploma is required, with 2–3 years of medical front desk experience preferred; EMR

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of front desk experience in a medical office/clinic.
• Prior dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 terminology and medical terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations: answer phones, greet patients, schedule appointments, and forward non-routine requests.
• Prepare patient paperwork prior to appointments and update EMA with patient information.
• Identify payer sources, verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations.
• Record and collect patient copays and/or balances at check-in/out.
• Other duties as assigned.
