Phoenix Physical Therapy in Wetumpka, AL is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator I to handle front desk tasks, check-in/check-out, and appointment bookings. You will prepare treatment areas and support patient care while upholding confidentiality and clinic standards.

You will greet patients, manage phones, verify insurance, collect co-pays, schedule reminders, and enter data in the EMR. This is a busy clinic role with daily operational duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years experience in medical office or related field.
• Current CPR certificate.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Oversee the cleanliness and inventory of the clinic.
• Maintain safety and sanitary requirements.
• Assist with set-up of treatment rooms and safety of the clinic.
• Answer phones and relay messages.
• Schedule and remind patients for services to meet treatment goals.
• Perform insurance verification.
• Meet patients on first visit to complete paperwork.
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles.
• Process credit card payments.
• Enter procedure codes accurately into EMR.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per company guidelines.
• End-of-day procedures as outlined in procedures manual.
• Perform other office support tasks as needed.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment and comply with regulations.
