Job summary

Doctors of Physical Therapy is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Naperville North clinic. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to build relationships with patients and the community, creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, communicating with patients, families, team members, clinicians and departments; providing detailed visit instructions; reviewing charts for data entry

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience with data entry and scheduling.
• Familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation/medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to communicate with patients, families, team members and clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a welcoming environment.
• Effectively communicate with patients, families, team members, clinicians and departments.
• Provide detailed instructions for visits and review patient charts for data entry accuracy.
• Assist with patient registration, data entry, scheduling and clerical duties.
• Collect copays and patient balances; assist with insurance benefits knowledge.
