Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient care activity in the office and facilitates flow of information between physician, patient, and referring physician.
• Manages daily patient and physician scheduling using systems for labs, diagnostic tests, and scheduling.
• Provides clerical support to the clinical team; handles records, films, and preparation of daily schedules.
• Answers telephone and makes daily patient, physician, and other calls; takes minutes for meetings.
• Coordinates meetings and travel for physicians; opens and sorts mail; handles deposits and cash drawer.
• Verifies referrals and performs pre-certifications as appropriate; acts as Super User for Electronic Medical Record.
