Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years with the education/experience to meet functional competencies.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; postsecondary medical education helpful.
• 2–5 years experience in a medical office including administrative support, scheduling, customer service, and Microsoft Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and reschedules patient appointments, procedures, tests and surgeries across multiple providers.
• Provides department reception and check-in, handles telephone coverage and routing of messages.
• Maintains department records, insurance verification, and prepares documentation for insurance/referrals.
