Job summary

Stanton Optical is a fast-growing retail optical center that emphasizes customer service and affordable eyewear. In this role, you will be the first touchpoint for patients, guiding them through services and facilitating sales while coordinating with the clinical services team.

You will greet customers, schedule appointments, perform pre-tests, and help with lens edging and frame assembly to ensure timely delivery of eyewear. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• You have an associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• You have 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• You have the skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• You implement active listening, build rapport, and empathize with the patients.
• You remain proactive and execute problem solving skills to address potential patients’ concerns.

Responsibilities

• Greet our patients and customers to ensure a friendly, memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history and complete pre-tests and eye assessments.
• Assist management with patient concern resolution and update status of all orders.
• Maintain brand standards and perform basic housekeeping in-store.
• Edge stock lenses and assemble frames to expedite delivery; ensure orders are accurate and timely.
• Notify management of lab equipment issues or order problems.
