Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a patient-focused team member to greet customers, identify needs, and drive sales in a fast-paced retail optic store. You will support both retail and clinical services teams, schedule appointments, and perform basic pre-tests and exams.

You will collaborate with the management team, resolve patient concerns, and ensure brand standards in both lab and store areas while delivering exceptional service and eyewear products.

Qualifications

• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, build rapport, and empathize with the patients.
• Proactive problem solving and addressing potential patients’ concerns.
• Collaborative spirit, while building respectful and cordial relationships with your team and patients.
• Results-driven with the ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience while promoting available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history and info in the system, perform pre-tests and related exams.
• Assist Management with patient complaint resolution and inform the status of all jobs.
• Ensure brand standards by performing basic housekeeping duties when necessary.
• Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery.
• Ensure brand standards in the lab area and notify management of issues.
• Keep track of delivery time commitments to patients to ensure 100% compliance.
