Job summary

Stanton Optical, part of Now Optics, is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to greet patients, support the transition from clinical services to retail, and deliver exceptional customer service in-store. You will assist with pre-tests, schedule appointments, and help drive sales while upholding brand standards.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree or higher, 2+ years of customer service experience with patients, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathy with patients.
• Proactive, with problem-solving skills to address concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work with a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history; perform pre-tests and basic vision assessments.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and keep patients informed on status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and assist with housekeeping as needed.
• Assist with lens edging and assembly to expedite delivery of glasses and ensure on-time delivery.
• Flag equipment issues or order problems in the lab and notify management.
• Track delivery times to ensure 100% on-time commitments.
• Other duties as assigned.
