Job summary

Stanton Optical is hiring a Doctor’s Technician to provide exceptional customer service and support sales at our Fort Lauderdale store.

Greet patients, facilitate the flow between clinical services and retail, and ensure an easy, memorable experience.

You will perform pre-tests, collect medical history, assist with lens edging and order delivery while upholding brand standards and teamwork. This role rewards strong communication, problem solving, and a dedication to patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school.
• 2+ years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group.
• Active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers and facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and document patient histories, perform pre-tests and basic eye tests.
• Assist management with patient complaints and ensure satisfaction.
• Edge lenses and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
