Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Branch Coordinator in Greensboro, NC to deliver excellent patient service by phone and in person. You will verify insurance, process orders, gather required documentation, and assist with billing to health plans.

This role requires strong organization, communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting, handling multi-line calls, scheduling, and receivables while supporting patients, providers and branch staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year related work experience.
• Preferred: experience with multi-line phone systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system; provide information to new and existing patients, troubleshoot issues, escalate when needed.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, review systems, confirm deliveries, verify insurance, obtain authorizations, monitor faxes, data entry.
• Work with sales, referrals and patients to gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines.
• Review patient accounts and obtain necessary documentation to bill health plans for benefits.
• Collect payments and reconcile daily receivables; submit to lock box.
• Perform outbound patient and referral satisfaction calls.
• May download data from recording devices and perform functional tests on equipment.
• Other duties as required.
