VillageMD is seeking a Patient Service Representative for a day shift in Livingston, NJ. The role focuses on greeting patients, registering them, handling calls, and managing payments with accuracy and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, strong customer service skills, and experience with EHR/Practice Management systems. This position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within VillageMD.

Competenze

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology is preferred.
• Basic proficiency in computer use; experience with EHR/Practice Management Systems preferred.

Mansioni

• Greets visitors, patients, and families in a friendly professional manner and directs them appropriately.
• Maintains an efficient patient flow through registration and provides excellent customer service.
• Answers the telephone promptly, directs calls, takes messages, and demonstrates appropriate etiquette.
• Informs patients of delays in physician schedules and assists with patient comfort.
• Posts self-pay charges, collects payments, reconciles daily payments and billing slips.
• Opens and closes batches, reconciling collections and preparing deposits.
