Sole Foot and Ankle Inc. in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a compassionate Patient Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice. You will greet patients, manage check-ins, and handle scheduling, billing inquiries, and insurance questions.

The ideal candidate is organized, has strong communication skills, and can multitask in a fast-paced medical office. Prior healthcare administrative experience is preferred, with HIPAA compliance and proficiency in EMR/EHR systems expected.

Competenze

• Prior experience in a medical office, healthcare, or patient-facing administrative role preferred.
• Familiarity with medical billing, insurance verification, and EMR/EHR systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or medical administrative certification a plus.

Mansioni

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience.
• Handle deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance explanations.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using practice management software.
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist patients with coverage questions.
• Collect co-pays, process payments, and manage billing inquiries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical documentation.
• Coordinate referrals and communicate with insurance providers and other healthcare offices.
• Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly.
