US Foot & Ankle Specialists in Reston, VA seeks a friendly Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy healthcare team. You will be the first contact for patients, ensuring a positive experience and supporting daily office operations.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, managing calls, scheduling, registering patients, verifying insurance, and handling payments. The role requires HIPAA compliance, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in medical admin support preferred.
• Knowledge of health insurance processes including verification and CPT/ICD codes preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients on arrival and address questions.
• Answer calls, transfer, and take messages.
• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars.
• Register patients and update demographics/insurance.
• Process payments including copays and deductibles.
• Verify insurance eligibility and referrals for next-day appointments.
• Maintain patient records and assist with billing processes.
• Support office tasks and projects as needed.
