Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond (PAR) seeks a patient-focused Patient Care Representative to perform front desk duties at our Virginia location. You will check-in/check-out patients, collect demographics, handle insurance data in Allscripts, and manage daily EMR tasks.

Prior front desk or customer service experience helps you thrive in a team-driven clinic environment. In this role you will use Phreesia pad and EMR tools, schedule follow-ups, process forms, and ensure patient privacy per HIPAA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of front desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and instruct on Phreesia pad usage.
• Enter demographic and insurance data in Allscripts.
• Scan financial paperwork and insurance cards.
• Obtain referrals when required.
• Check out patients in Allscripts.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and tests.
• Complete orders and give patient instructions.
• Call patients to schedule/reschedule appointments.
• Maintain daily administrative tasks in EMR.
