Job summary

Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide administrative support essential for effective patient care under the supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

You will greet patients, register and discharge, collect demographics and insurance information, and maintain a welcoming, patient-focused environment while coordinating with clinic staff. The role requires proficient basic PC skills and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with CPR certification.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with medical office processes and insurance basics.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with high customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information at registration.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, or Self-Pay amounts at registration.
• Maintain knowledge of medical insurance plans and coverage limits.
• Coordinate medical records and assist back-office duties as needed.
