Pulmonary Associates of Richmond is seeking a Call Center Specialist to handle incoming calls and schedule patient appointments from a remote Virginia location. You will coordinate with providers and office staff, ensuring accurate data entry and patient information flow.

This role emphasizes excellent customer service and adherence to HIPAA privacy rules. The position offers hourly pay ranging from $16.50 to $19.50 based on experience, with occasional trips to the PAR office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in a call center environment and/ or in a medical practice is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to schedule appointments and navigate EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly with excellent customer service.
• Listen, ask probing questions, and determine call purpose.
• Schedule patient appointments for pulmonary and sleep services.
• Enter demographic information into Allscripts accurately.
• Inform callers of arrival time, required documents, and policies.
• Assist with EMR indexing and output queue as needed.
